|Reviews for Upon This Sheet Of Paper|
| Eirien chapter 1 . 6/4/2004
Beautiful. As one reviewer said, the concept has been voiced before, but this is special, original, and not only because of the tight structure and perfect form. Am I mistaken, or do I sense subtle allusions and hints in the subtext to another "form of writing", red on white with a blade, the message perhaps being how writing on paper can be a substitute for what I described in my poem "Blood Artists"? Sorry if this is just my morbid imagination or own preoccupation, I just love the figurative power of "clean white sheet", "heart made out of steel" and "let (the memories) flow". Whatever - great poem, I really like it. ;-)

Excellent. It's a wonderful explanation of why we writers, well, write, haha. I love the way you kept it simple, yet so elegant. WELL DONE.
