Mia...! What is all this talk of not writing poetry anymore? *stares* You CAN'T stop writing...! I will miss your poems far too much! They're always so beautiful, and heartfelt, and they ALWAYS have a strong impact on me...! Take this one for example... it completely blew me away, particulilarily that last line... wow. It's increda powerful... Prayer is, indeed, a powerful thing. Granted, I'm a Christian, but I tend to neglect praying.. *hangs head in shame* but those prayers that come from deep inside, when you're most depserate... they're certainly incredibly powerful. As this poem depicted perfectly. The fact that it's from an athiest's point of view who's never prayed to God before makes it only all the more powerful. I LOVE IT! Please don't stop writing...! I will cry.. :( *HUGS* Take care! Love, Sarah

| Dirty Wallpaper chapter 1 . 3/4/2004
it is slightly strange for an atheist to implore a god they dont believe in...especially when a conventional atheists belief is that there is, full stop, no god - they believe that we are completely alone and have to depend purely on ourselves...are you sure your an atheist chica? just seems kind of weird is all. anyways, on to the fantabulous poem at hand...me liked the title as well, twas very...contridictory and so brought about a sense of desperation which was great.
i *loved* the last stanza, it was great, very descriptive, had a certain grandeur aura to it.
anywayz, great work here chica, i think its so sad though that you have given up on poetry :( promise youll still post at leat monthy *perks up a little* :D
take care and kudos!
