Reviews for Honor Duel
T41N7 chapter 1 . 9/20/2005
wow, that was incredible. I love writing duels, but I have never read something so epic in my life! You certainly have done your share of research concerning swordfighting. However, I never imagined Genghis using a sword, he is normally depicted with a club or barbaric bludeoning weapon, and his style was probably barbaric as well. Honestly, the fighters could have been replaced with any two heroes though. It was very well written, and those soldiers that went to go get drinks sure didn't know what real entertainment was (or maybe I don't).
Fabian Beswick chapter 1 . 7/13/2004
Actually, I think Theodoric was around in about 500-600 AD, maybe late 400s, but anyway this is a good one.
Darn, why'd those Mongols win? Der Goths are much better!
Blindfire40 chapter 1 . 6/1/2004
Good job. You had nice description of every aspect, and there really was nothing to complain about in this story. the one thing that is kind of confusing is who Ghengis Khan managed to puncture a metal breastplate with a single thrust of his scimitar. Other than that detail, however, this is a superb short work.
The Dark Wizard chapter 1 . 3/16/2004
This was very well written, im oh so proud.
Cederick Kuneraze chapter 1 . 3/10/2004
Extremely good description! Better than the first fight scene in by story!
