I liked it! I have a cat whose an outdoor cat, and I know what it's like for the cat to be gone for a little and worry if they're coming back. Well written, and I think you have a wonderful sense of cadence. You also did a good job of incorperating a rhyme without sacrificing the quality of your writing. You seem like a natural poet!
