Reviews for My Demon Stopped Singing
JenBrat chapter 1 . 10/18/2006
This is absolutely AMAZING. Wonderful job of keeping the concept of a Demon recognizable, but not falling into all the possilbe cliches about Demons. And, of course, beautifully written, beautifully worded.

I think I'm going to go read it again now. . . This definately strikes me as a pieve where you learn/see something new every time you read it, and I think that's a mark of truly great writing.
yellow pen chapter 1 . 8/24/2006
sort of scary. haha. i like it, in a freaky way. to answer your question, my cinderella story is actually designed to have a flexible setting like Oedipus rex. I try to keep the country and time period vague on purpose so it can take place anywhere. Since this is a composite historical fiction piece, random historical figures make their way into the story with no regard to timeline or geography. I’m glad you enjoyed it, the next two chapters are available at blackpen if you’d like to read ahead. Thanks for the review!
W3DNESDAY chapter 1 . 6/12/2004
whew..that was ..beautiful (pardon the use of this extremely cheesy word)
i loved it.. though the ending was kinda la-di-da-da-ish.. i'm not sure how to describe it..
maybe you could take the last line out altogether, or add something with more dark oomph! lol
it was a pleasure reading your work.. read mine too, please?
Burnt Bread chapter 1 . 4/23/2004
Somewhat twisted... It's good in the way it says what it wants to say, but fairy creepy. I like how it made me feel cold inside.
Jettatura chapter 1 . 4/23/2004
Wow... o.O I really don't know what to say.
