You are so amazing Sugar. Even your stories sound like poetry. No worshiping now though, can't have you getting a big head. If I was gay I would have the biggest crush on you. Sincerely if you ever have a sex change call me up. Thanks for your usual breathtaking clarity.
EveryNowAndThen chapter 1 . 7/2/2004
I like that it's written in the present tense... It just gives it a unique feel. Your imagery is impressive, and it's very creative... You said so much in such a short amount.
SippingFallenRaindrops chapter 1 . 7/1/2004
Another amazing piece of work. Have you ever read Francesca Lia Block's books? Your style of writing reminds me a lot of hers. startlingly beautiful
the cereal killer chapter 1 . 6/14/2004
As usual, I am in awe of the ultimately gorgeous descriptions and phrases applied.
Starbucks is a God-send.
I burnt my tongue just 4 days ago, I know how it feels.
Pretty Girls Make Graves. (:
I like them. I used to go around saying "Pretty girls make graves, pretty boys break hearts". Makes sense, no?
I simply adore everything you write. The word-choice is absolutely charming. I wish you would write so much more, but I'm more than willing to wait.
If you could mail me sometime?
AethraZip chapter 1 . 6/3/2004
Well, that was certainly.. different, to say the least. Not a bad sort of different, though. I don't think I've ever read anything quite like this before, but I'd be willing to read me, if you plan to make this more than a one-shot. (I hope so.)
Only thing I didn't think fit too well was Svetlana's attempted seduction of Beauford and later, contrasting that with "There is only love of God." Now, lust and love aren't the same thing, but if she's so religious, why would she try to seduce him in the first place? An important rule of Christianity is sex after marriage (supposedly. I don't pay attention in church, myself).
Otherwise, I.. love/like/have good feelings toward this story. Take your pick.

Achingly beautiful and surreal. I'm in debt of what to say.
