Talk about stressful! I am so sorry I haven't been a very faithful reviewer, but alas! I have cuaght up, and I am very impressed as usual! I don't know why, but I am happy that Lena finally realized she was in love with Timon. I just can't picture her with Philo. They don't fit. It's like when you take two pieces to a puzzle that don't belong together and shove them into place. But Lena and Timon: they fit together. I hope everything works out in the end. This is an amazing read, and I am so glad I have gotten the chance to read it. Thanks for the great read as always, and I am always here when you update! -A.K. Eighth

I could not stop reading this story. i read right through the 20 chapters and I am definitly impressed by your excellent writing skills! I can't wait to see what happens in the end!

It seems so silly that Lena is unable to make herself love Philo. He's such a good guy. He loves her; he'd do anything for her. He dedicates his work for her. I feel so bad that he will never have her heart. I mean, I like Lena. But I'm a tad bit frustrated with her. Passion-it rarely lasts through decades of life. The kind of stability and companionship she has with Philo will be far more substantial than anything she could ever have with Timon. Granted, a part of me really wants her to end up with him, because I too, like the romantic passion and the reuniting after a wrong. It's very idealistic. But in the long run, I think she's better off with Philo. You said this wasn't goin to end the way the readers' anticipated, so I'm really REALLY curious what the entails exactly. Hmm...*pondering*

I think I might hate her brother. He's not really a nice person. He's exactly like Timon, but without as much heart. He uses other people, and orders them around. That angers me. His sister has done for the most of her life, nothing but what her bro asked. Then she falls in love and so he's upset with her since Timon is the enemy. I can sort of understand his anger. But when she leaves the prince, now he goes all self-righteous on her and tells her to do what? Huh? She doesn't love Philo, I''m frustrated with her for that too. But what would Acaues rather have her do? Leave Philo? Whore herself? I don't know what he wansts from her. Obviously he doesn't want her to go back to the Prince. He hates him. So what then?

Oh, and I hope Timon gets Cadmus really drunk so that he admits to everything. That jerk. He deserves to feel foolish!

I don't know...I like this chapter, but I feel it wasn't your best. The prince is quite the controversy character. He seems to have a personality that is not very decisive. I feel that his character shifts too often. And Lena...how did Lena suddenly feel love blossom? I felt that this chapter was just a bit cliche. However, that's not to say that I didn't enjoy it. It was still very sad and it did make me feel very very sorry for Lena. Have I told you I adore your story yet?~Queen Anabella

This story is probably one of the best i have ever read on fictionpress. I feel so sorry for Lena, her parents getting murdered and then being forced into slavery! Her familys plight really touched me especially her little brother Nikias.I hope she manages to regain her rightful position and get out of slavery, Timon seems both good and bad and Cadmus seems plain nasty. please update soon!
