Such a strong poem. I really liked the lines "I know this is hurting you, baby
But this is killing me." It draws out so much emotion. Great job.

Beautiful. Nice job with your rhyming. It didn't seem forced at all, it just flowed, and added to the poem. I could really relate to this, and it made me want to cry. That, of course, is a good thing. It means you successfully captured the situation. I liked the lines "This friendship is based on hurt," "You have to release my heart; you gotta let me go..." and "I know this is hurting you/But this is killing me." All three of these lines really drew me into the poem and explained so much. Beautiful poem.
