Reviews for All Around Me
Mackenzie Louise chapter 1 . 6/20/2004
:'( That was so adorably bittersweet. My poor achy breaky heart. This poem shattered it to pieces. I hope this wasn't inspired by a true story that affected you, even if you haven't lost a child (I don't even know if you're old enough...), but you know what I mean, right? Anyway, this was beautifully written and very inspirational. In fact, I have a story in mind where a married couple loses one of their children. The thought of losing a child is heartwrenching. My mom's first baby died after five months from a heart disease and I don't know how she's gotten past it. So, in that respect I can understand the view of this chapter even though I never even knew my brother nor was he my child. But it still hurts a lot. Anyway...am I rambling too much? I think so. I very much appreciated this poem and I'd have to say it's the first one in a long time that has affected me this way. Keep it up.
