i'm indian too, so i can relate to alot of the story.

i'm not quite sure that i trust River because in the beginning he was threanting Rita saying that she shouldn't have kneed him in tha balls and that she'll pay; so i feel like he might be playing her somehow...but maybe that's just me...

Poor Tash, Alexander is an idiot. Oh crap, I have no idea what to call him. Poor Lex, he had to see his cousin go through all of that. And even with that he had to go and be perverted. Yes, the male mind thinks about sex every seven seconds.

So what's Rita going to do? Will she stop hanging out with Jenna's group and stuff? Will they ever find out what Alexander did? They better! And Rita better hide. Will Lex's group protect her? Ergh, keep writing!

hey. cool story. what i like the most about it is the way you've portrayed rita's struggle for independence and space and identity amidst the pressures from her family and her culture. i guess i just really identify with her. one suggestion i'd like to make, though, is to devote a bit more effort at developing the other characters. i know this story is rita-centered, but the others are just reading a little bit too flat - even lex, despite the back story with tasha. so yeah. i'm looking forward to your updates :)
