it spoke ages of truth in a few lines. Great job, I loved it.
Barbados chapter 1 . 8/16/2005
I myself am not a religious man, but I do respect the power of religion. It's a power that comes through in this poem, and it's a power that can indeed bring about peace. It's a shame that some people see the need to use it for war. :( Beautiful work, keep it up!
Broken Petals chapter 1 . 8/13/2005

This was a short but brilliant piece. Nice descriptions and ideas. You seemed to write from the heart on this and it showed through. Wonderful job. Keep writing. * smiles and now feels at peace*
arwen-evenstar89 chapter 1 . 7/14/2004
wowie! I love it! It's very true! Jesus does have a way of doing that... But this is very figurative, and it has a really great meaning. I love it!

sc4sc chapter 1 . 7/14/2004
Peace: It's something we all aspire to have, yet we can never have it 100%. To some degree, I comply, but under the extreme cirumstances, I believe it's possible (try nuking and killing all but 2 people, and see if they still fight each other lolz)
The poem is well written, and I kinda expect that from you now; I'm a fan of your work, and you have loads of talent! I like the rhyming, but not sure if 'are' and 'war' ryhme? Maybe in the US (I'm from the UK)?

Eirien chapter 1 . 7/14/2004
Lovely, I like the message. Though on earth it is quite hard to maintain that inner peace perfectly ... But the ending is effective, a strong point to finish with.
