I've come to realize that killing a man in war is accepted because it is not in fact killing a man, but killing a component of the embodiment. Without national representation, there would be no war. This poem conveyed the horrors of nationalism and representation very well. I think it would be best to do away with representation and national separation all together.
Story-Teller's Aide chapter 1 . 7/21/2004
Oh, i loved your poem! that is such a fantastic and original idea; i have obviously seen the american flag used in poems before, but never as the main object, which completely casts a different light over everything going on in the world today. wow! that was superb. well done :)
Jackie Hina chapter 1 . 7/20/2004
