This is great. :) Just a question. Will the letters ever be brought up? I mean Josh sent like dozens, right? Did someone intercept them so that Kay couldn't see them or something? It's been on my mind the whole time...

I just re-read everything from more than you'd think to here and I just have to say I love how in mty I really love how you managed to hold their integrities as teenage boys like so many other authors have their charaters have such mature thought processes and it just doesn't seem as real. and it works even nicer in your story because it allows you to show us how the characters are maturing and changing as they age and while they are apart from each other. The one little piece of advice that I do have for you is that in LION you really can tell exactly where the older writing cuts off and the more recent writing starts. But I no that you are working on editing and doing stuff like that so :) I really love your story please keep it up

Oh, finally something looks like it's settling! Might have been slightly too sudden, but I did like the little confrontation between Jack and Kay. And Josh kind of standing up for himself. ;)

Now for the lols Josh could try to babysit Nicky a little. That would be amusing in a sadistic way.

i had a few chaps to catch up on and i wonder is this the end? it would be a perfect spot but ill be selfish and say i would still love to read more. this love affair has really been one of my favorites. thank you so much for continuing to amaze.

So I was thinking about stuff to say when I was reviewing, and then I forgot. Hm.

I think they're cute when they're talking. I remember that.

I'd like more development of why Josh gets so uncomfortable without the glasses, because I find that interesting.

Believe it or not, I'm usually good at this reviewing stuff. But judging by the state of my last review, I'm a little less than lucid right now. Um... yeah? So like IDK why because I only had a few cups of coffee and that was several hour ago. I think there's something wrong with the receptors in my brain that makes me subconsciously think I'm high all the time. Is that possible? I think it should be.

This part is not a critique, but my inner kinky slash-reader speaking. For some reason I really want Josh to have a panic attack with Kay around. Is that even possible? I don't know, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants that. You've established that he's still got some issues and all, so. It'd fit? Riiiiiight? That... IDK. I just want the fluffy.

So I've rambled for long enough. Hopefully my email will send me the alert next time. Hurr.

I clicked on the link in my inbox for 26 and was confused the fuck out of my mind. This happens to me not infrequently. So anyway.

But for future reference, you aren't allowed to UPDATE before I REVIEW. Got it? I AM VERY POSSESIVE, now don't screw things up again.

LOLOL I'm kidding. It's 11 pm, so it's too early for me to be slaphappy, and I'm not sure what's going on in my brain bbut it involves a kangaroo and somebody pooping on me. BUT no excuses. Wait a moment. Okay. I'm ready now.

Kay's reaction to him disappearing works well. I like the almost-childish neediness. It's a really interesting reversal of their earlier dynamic.

[I close my eyes and groan mentally as a flood of long-forgotten and humiliatingly dramatic memories rise up] HEEHEE. I feel like this is your own reaction to the earlier stuff, is it? LOL. I didn't think it was that dramatic, but I know whenever I reread my older stuff, I wanna gouge my eyes out.

I like this story! I started reading The Faster You Fall, and then the other stories in the same series of stories. That was years ago, so I forgot about checking to see if you'd updated after several months of no updates... But then I remembered again! And miraculously enough you had already posted several more chapters! I think I squealed. :P

I check your profile for updates almost every day. Almost, as you can see I missed this one by two days.

Thank you for writing this wonderful story and posting it here! I think it's so cool that you're actually updating quite regularly after all that time when you didn't. And that you've created this universe of characters and stuff and it's so long and complex! Thank you. :D
