|Reviews for Of Sand and Steel: Laying the Desert Railway|
| Zygnus Windell chapter 3 . 2/27/2005
It's a shame I didn't read this earlier. I like it quite bit. It reminds me of Dune meets Iron Maiden's "Of SUN and Steel" .I hope you decide to update it again soon.
| Mbwun chapter 2 . 8/7/2004
I love the premise... one of the most interesting introductions I've ever read. Looking forward to this one.

| Stormwell chapter 1 . 8/6/2004
Ok, so you've got my interest...
Its going to be very um...'interesting' how you'll pull this one off!
Bare in mind that I have an interest in railways, and have a good understanding of railway operation.
Anyway a few points to cinsider;
1. Railways aren't just built for the pure hell of it, theres usually a very good reason like theres a good profit to be made.
2. The amount of expect traffic must be considered before deciding on what guage, motive power and strength of the rail.
3. What terrian the line will run through and the capital (money) will also need to be considered.
