Random Tokin' White Dude chapter 1 . 6/3/2005 From The Author:What the fuck are you people, retarted? Can you not fucking read in the summary, and in the authors ntoe at the top of the motherfucking story where I plainly state that this whole fucking thing is sarcastic? Are you on glue or something? Jesus fucking Christ you people are so fucking stupid. Well, those of you who actually enjoyed this one, have a lovely day :) |
You chapter 1 . 2/21/2005 Awesome! You hit the nail right on the head. Hilarious |
Random Reader chapter 1 . 11/9/2004 I can understand why you have the urge to make fun of something, but at least do it in a constructive way. xD I agree with Tiefling about the sexuality thing. :/ I'm also bi, and sort of getting into the whole thing. I like the clothes, but I definitely prefer different music than what the stereotype says. :P I would never go spend a large amount of money at Hot Topic or something and then call myself goth. .' |

deadcode chapter 1 . 10/31/2004 ar the humanity ( and the sarcasm). I think some people just don't get sarcasm when they see it. How transparent the conformity of 'non' conformity can be. Love it. This is funny as hell. |
Tiefling chapter 1 . 9/25/2004 Not bad in terms of spelling, grammar and writing style, but I don't really see the point of writing something that just bashes a subculture unless you at least make it funny. 'While you're there, you might as well pick up a pentagram, an upside down star with a circle around it, keychain/necklace, this identifies you as a satanist and will help you in your quest for individuality.' The Pentagram is not a Satanist symbol, but rather one associated with various forms of witchcraft, including Wicca. It's supposed to provide protection against evil, not invoke it. The Satanist symbol is an *inverted* pentagram (the upside down *five pointed* star, as opposed to say, a six pointed star, which would be a Hexagram, the seal of Solomon). 'A/N:This is not intended to offend gays or bisexuals in any way, just to discourage those who become bisexual or gay just because it's the new cool thing to do.' Did it occur to you that perhaps the reason there seem to be quite a few gay and bisexual goths is that gays and bisexuals are drawn to goth culture because they're already outsiders? I don't think it's even possible to 'become' gay or bisexual because you want to. I've always been bisexual, and I have noticed that goths are pretty acception of alternate sexualities so it might also be that there is the same proportion of homosexuals and bisexuals within the goth subculture but that goths are just more open about it. I'm not really Goth myself (sometimes I go with the look, but I like bright colours too much to do it all the time, and living in the tropics the climate's not great for pancake makeup), though I'm currently half asleep having spent most of last night in a goth bar with friends. I quite liked it, and, aside from the colour scheme (or lack of one- the only splashes of colour you get are the odd bit of red or purple)no two people in the place had the same outfit or hairstyle. Everyone had their own individual thing going on, and personally, I can't see anything wrong with that. It's a lot more interesting than a room full of jailbait teenyboppers in identical tight jeans and tank tops like you'd find in any other club in town. Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, but if I were you I wouldn't waste my time hating goths. |
Quiet One chapter 1 . 9/19/2004 I myself am not goth, but I must tell you that Manic Panic sucks. I died my hair blue with it over the summer, and all it did was fade in a week, but leave enough of the color behind that it looked like I'd gone in the pool too much and had turned it green. This color however, stayed in so long I had to dye it out. Not fun. Overall, amusing essay, though by now its a rather overdone topic. |
Cthulhu chapter 1 . 9/19/2004 Why do you despise Goths so? I personally deiasgree with the lifestyle choice, but as it does not cause hrm to anyone else, then I think that they should be allowed to continue without chastisement. But hey, its your opinion and you have stated it in a clear but perhaps offensive manner, and hence you are entitled to it. (I prefer to use the term conforming to non-conformity when describing Goths) |
Forest Passant chapter 1 . 9/18/2004 Hahahahaha... lmao... you should do one of these on how to be punk. Unless you have already, I have no idea. Anyways, it was hilarious. "Welcome to the world of individuality..." hee hee. |
Julie chapter 1 . 9/18/2004 hahahahhaha I Love it. |
