Reviews for How to Successfully Complete a Successful Story!
Cirex chapter 1 . 10/31/2005
Hey this was really great. I'm a pretty big planner myself, in fact that's one of the things I enjoy most about writing. I actually find it easier to do then writing it, but that's just me, I'm weird. :P

But I still get Writer's Block a lot, lol. Even though I know what's going to happen, it's still had to write certain scenes so I'm satisfied that they sound reasonably alright, and not like crap. That's my biggest hang-up.

Your point about making revisions is very true as well. That's all I've been doing lately, making revisions, revisions, revisions... blah.

It does get tiresome eventually though.

That's interesting. .-

You've succesfully explained why I've shelved one of mine and am still halfway through my current projects.

Thanks lot for help on the characterisation part. It's a great help, especially when I'm rying to bring out their personality. _
XXXXX XXXX XX XXXX XXXXX XXXXX chapter 1 . 9/19/2005
Thanks a lot! This is really great- especially the little tips on pre-writing and other such things whose concept I can remember but whose names slip away from me and come back again like Pamela Anderson's breast implants.

So let's wait...

I remember! The "Planning" the story thing! That's the one! (Took me about three minutes to remember that -_-)

Anyway, thanks a million, a half, and three quarters.

And possibly a nickel.

Individual-9086 chapter 1 . 7/26/2005
Heh... planning... the bane of my existance. I get inspired; I write; I post. That is why I have over 50 stories that I care nothing about. I do acknowledge that your advice is good... if hard for me to follow. Writing (scene by scene) is easy, editing is boring and planning (for me) is torture! I guess, when I find an idea I like enough I will take the time to extend my planning. Until then, I'll keep on writing the crap.
