I was thinking yesterday about there being no South African accents on fp and now there is. Made my day?

'“Vaan,” he replies. “V-a-a-n. And question—where in hell is that crazy accent from?”'

What's not to love. Although you haven't updated much. That's a downside. I don't want to get to the end of this :(

He swears alot? I don't think so, but then I don't pick up on it unless it's really alot.

Some wonderful expressions and insights into the character there; 'I have opinions, and you will hear about them.', 'Throw me in the river and I wouldn’t float upstream, I’d probably flounder off down a tributary. I do my own thing. Other people do theirs.' and finally, 'Who goes up to the guy stocking vegetables and says, “yo, Maurice, where’s the mixed salad greens at?”' That, and they just made me smile :)

You got character details into it without making it dull, and it's perfect. I adore it.

I'm not sure if I said this before, but I'm in love with Vaan. ... well, not really, that would be weird 'cause he's just a character, but you know what I mean. This was another great chapter; your writing always makes me laugh... well, it IS almost one in the morning and I tend to get hyper when I lack sleep but... sorry, I'm rambling. Anyway, you have to write more soon, I can't wait to read the next chapter!

I'm really late, and for that, I'm REALLY sorry. I'm just...lazy. Heh. I was so happy you updated though, and the chapter was AMAZING. Vaan has become a million times cooler just for the beginning. Lol. I love how Saul was stalling when he was going to go. So cute. I think the whole bedroom scene was my favorite out of the whole chapter. It just...showed a lot about both of them. And the eye thing...one more thing to love about him. HE SAID HISS. Heh. [...dropping his head forward to knock against my collarbone...] I freaking adore that part. All in all, I can't wait for the next chapter but will I have to. Lol. This makes me happy. Much love.

I adore Vaan. This chapter really helped develop Saul's character, and although the Lord of the Rings talk was completely lost on me, I like your dialogue. It's very real.

Great chapter! Even though nothing "real" happened, we learned a lot more about Vaan, and admittedly less about Saul... but we learned about him all the same. I like fluff chapters, thank-you-verrah-much!

The idea of turning all that junk into jewelry is great. And tempting.
