I just read all 32 chapters of your story; it was that addicting.

I really enjoyed your characters and how the interaction is so flawless. You really have a gift for characterization and expressing things. Normally, I don't really like stories that don't have an interesting/strong plot (not that your story isn't interesting, because it is) but Alora and especially Drake just won me over. They just have this life that really "leaps off the page" - sorry for the cliche, but it's apt.

And also, this is just on the side and probably because I read the story in one sitting, but you have a couple of inconsistencies. The ones that stood out were Drake talking about his family (it seems as though Alora doesn't know about his family after he's told her the basics) and Alora talking about her debutante ball to Drake in the last few chapters.

Other than that, which I'm sure is just due to forgetting you mentioned things already, Nutmeg is a great and promising story. I want to thank you for writing such a captivating story - especially one that doesn't rush on the romance!

I love you. Your story makes me smile and drink coffee. out of five stars I give it five stars and a :) because it is just that awesome, also I love your characters they are so very human, and on the subject of Goblin King With Freckles, I agree, it's a tragedy, I may spend the rest of my life wondering what could have been... but you wouldn't do that would you? Please never abandon this story. Yeah... eventually I may go back and try to write more intelligent things in reviews, but for now I summarize my opinion with "Yay!" Thus ends my awkward/creepy/stalker/complementy review.

Ehe, it is pretty hilarious. I just absolutely love Drake and as soon as I got home from Marshall University..I just HAD to check up on your story and see if you had updated. Luckily, you did. Aha, that brightened my day, because I was all bummed to be back home and not still having fun with a bunch of drama geeks(who i love to death.) But this was just absolutely amazing and I can't wait until the next chapter. I still think Drake and Alora belong together...

There are some things in there where I'm not sure if it was intentional or if it was a mistake, and if it was a mistake, I wouldn't know what you intended. You have a mistake like that in this chapter, actually... I think. _;

awsome job with this chapter. Are you almost done with the story? I keep on thinking that Drake and Alora are going to be a couple, but their relationship is not progressing that fast. It kind of makes me think twice if they will only be friends. I think your story is amazing and you should update faster!

Chapter 1 is great. Really low key and yet makes me want Alora to stick it to the suit again. Good job!

Matt gets his girl, Alora is probably going to be formally asked out or be made severely uncomfortable during that charity ball... and I wonder if at some point her grandfather will tell her to break off her friendship with Drake?

Forcing her to choose between her family (okay, her grandparents, who have only ever hurt her feelings and tried to make her feel like less of a person due to her personality) and a dear friend who has been there for her when she needed somebody to care the most for her will not seem an easy choice initially...

but to eventually lose a friend and first your family...

... It's happened... _;

Basically, I keep hoping that Alora and Drake will get around to becoming a fairly healthy couple, and that her grandparents will back the f*ck off instead of trying to control Alora's relationship with him or exploit it somehow.

The ending of that made me giggle. The whole thing made me giggle actually.

Now, I'm excited for the last seven chapters.

But I'm sad to be finished with these 31 chapters.

But it was amazing.

I loved it and can't wait to read the rest.

I promise to not lose track when you update. I'm a loyal reader when I want to be. x'D
