| Nature's Glory chapter 1 . 5/15/2007
So, so true...*sob, cough* heh.
One thing I didn't like about this is the same old cliche: The nerd will be your boss one day. So sick of hearing that :P, some of us arent smart nerds :(
| happy thing chapter 1 . 12/4/2004
Hehe. Cute ending.
| Olivia Muldoon chapter 1 . 11/6/2004
Okay, this I liked. It says a lot. I like the part about geeks being our future bosses. I plan on being my own boss, but I'm still nice to the 'nerds'. There aren't many who are classified as nerds in my school though. Odd, yes?
| Mayaj chapter 1 . 10/31/2004
Hehe, we have very different views on nerds... Good poem, dude, the ending especially, of course. I agree with it on a lot of levels, but disagree as well, mostly because - nerds gross me out! I don't mean the book-worm-good-student-intelligent type, I mean the pimply gangly bucktoothed greasy guy who's arms are too long and supposedly reaches past you for his bag or something and 'accidentaly' brushes his hands against your boob. Or passing in the bus, 'accidentaly' leans up against your ass. The kind of guy that if you ask him what time it is starts sweating and touching himself ocassionaly. I don't know about your nerds, but those are the ones we have at my school. The smart ones don't really get prosecuted... and as you know I got a soft spot for intelligent and articulate guys, so they're not considered nerds. It's the sexualy desperate, socially retarded, perverts that are usually avoided the way you described... But I don't know, guys and girls also have very different views of nerds. To guys their just a 'lesser monkey', but to girls they can be fucking dangerous. Especially in groups. To tell you the truth, the most accurate movie I ever saw concerning nerds was American Pie. Those are the type of people to watch out for...
btw that's a really great idea for a poem theme. Makes me wanna try it out...
