So I just spent three hours addicted to the computer, staring intently at the screen as i read this story. i mean, i even skipped on my normal chocolate-chocolate chunk muffin with chocolate milk to continue reading.

This is a really good story. i understand that things are going on with your mother, but, well... if the story will never be continued, can we just get a notice so that we know for sure it's been stopped? it really is an amazing story, and i just got pulled in to the story.

(I didn't even remember about my chocolates until my brother started shrieking about the chocolate gods raining down from heaven... that's how involving the story is.)

I love how you make Chole insane but sane at the same time. this story is well written in my opp. I like how you have your char. interact. you make Ian seem nice while he's acting like a total jerk! and i'm glad that your getting the hole story line thing right. you make it more realistic then having chole and conner fall for each other in chapter 4. it just seems well constructed. well i hope that you update again soon! can't wait to read more.

Chloe is well-written and thought-out. Bravo. And I love the way she thinks, and the way you articulate those thoughts. It's just SO well-done.

was checking out fic recs and came across your story (i dont even know if your still checking reviews but i had to try) i absoltely loved it - and i really do hope your able to finish it one day (or come to an acceptable compromise but then sometimes its all or nothing)

your a fantastic writer - good character development and a good story development - and your writing style just flows really well and is a lovely read - dont stop writing (weather or not you decide to continue on with this story or not)

Hello :) well, this has been on my 'to read' list for decades, but the lack of updates had me hesitant to read it, because there isn't anything worse than getting into a discontinued story. but, then i read the explanation on your profile, and read through the entire bit in one go. in 2 days it will have been one year since you've updated, but i can completely understand where you're coming from with the writers block. my mom was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, and writing/reading about anything pertaining to any sort of terminal illness is still touchy for me. i was thinking though, obviously the absence of C,C,&K's mother is quite integral, but perhaps you could change the status of their mother from dead to MIA, or in a coma, or remarried to some Italian Stallion living in Jamaica with a new family, etc. etc. I mean, does she really have to be dead? Anyway though, I can't imagine anyone having the gall to PM you and chew you out for not updating YOUR story. the lot of them are all assholes, if you ask me. But, trust me, no one has forgotten this exists. OKAY, BUT, all of that to say, good luck with your mother. it's a really horrid, desperate, contorted thing to have to go through, and i sincerely wish that, in time, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you and your family. good luck, and i'm adding this to my alert list for the day that you come back to it :)

I just LOVE Downward Spiral Rising. I have to stop now to catch some shut eye but I felt like I wouldn't be able to sleep until I did this. DSR (yay. nicknames rock) is just downright HILAROUS and has drama at the same time, which is completely amazing beyond anything I am able to do. So I just wanted to say awsome job and keep at it!
