Reviews for The Sophomore Season |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() I've just finished it, and I absolutely loved it! It was amazing. I kinda hoped that there would be a third story about them. I would love to see them as parents _ But I guess there wont be one. It's about a year and a half since you finished this. But I hope you will consider it anyway _ Thanks for an amazing story _ |
![]() ![]() ![]() aww.. so sweet! :D |

![]() ![]() You made me cry! At the happy bit!Very impressive. |
![]() ![]() I know this may be highly inappropriate but I found your Author's Rant at the top of chapter 7 absolutely hilarious! |
![]() ![]() ![]() oh god, this is a quick review in case i doze of before finishing, but i've read diligently half of the first story, then skimmed through to the end, and now i'm almost done with this one all over the course of ONE evening. and its so long. it's currently 5am and i have a party tmorrow night but i dont care i must read this! i'll leave a better review later and i'm going to force myself to read the entire thing over indepth later. when it's not like supersuper late night/supersuper early morning! |
![]() ![]() i love it. u made me cry and my heart just seem to twist in pain after all the drama, etc. i love it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ok.. call me silly, but wasn't there an epilogue to this story? I'm sure there was, but onto other stuff. Rereading this story for the millionth time was absolutely AMAZING. I read both the 1st and this one all day today, and put off homework for a while *Evil cackle*. I have noticed some typos, but who doesn't have them y'know, even writing this review I've had like 50 of them or so it seems. I always thought that these stories should really be a trilogy, but I understand the author being busy so I simply just think of what happens in the future. But yes, the love in this story just overflows... and I meant to tell you in the first story that the part where Trent and Ally are in Pickerville and on the playground and where she squeals so loud Trent comments that all the dogs within a ten mile radius just had heart attacks, all but made me die of laughter. I know, it's quite petty, but I thought I ought to let you know. It was angsty and there were times when I started bawling and getting all teary eyed, but that just shows how well the author can write if they can make you cry reading their stuff. Well, I do think this is long enough, so I'll let you go, and if's you like, you can respond (though I am kidding about this, you don't have too), but I hope you're well, and I look forward to reading more of your stories in the future. Have a good evening/afternoon/morning, depending where you are at and Take care! -Ayla,AKA Aquarius21 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. I mean, wow. That was a sudden, unexpected, gorgeous end to a great story. I half-expected that Courtney girl to show up and ruin the wedding, though. Oh, gods, I can stress how much I love this right now. Congratulations on doing a wonderful job. ) -Archee |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hey,I just read both, "the perfect game" and "the sophomore season" and i loved them! I think I cried about a million times in both of them! I would definatly buy these two if they were published!Emmy |
![]() ![]() Hi, I just got done reading "Perfect Game" and totally forgot to post something to you about it.. DUH! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading it and I'm sure will enjoy the sequel too... I just realized what a bland word 'enjoy' is... I just really loved it alot and that was the first word that came to mind.. Sorry about that... Anyway, I hope you keep writing cause in my humble opinion you are very talented and would really love to keep reading you in the future... Thanks A fan, Hummer |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know, I think this story has the most bitter of twists. It's like every bad thing that could happen in a relationship happened here. Like they say, The path to true love is never easy. I totally believe that now. I almost cried like ten times when I was reading about their heartaches and all. It really is a wonder that they stayed together after all that and Trent was so sweet! He's like an epitome of perfection and Ally is so lucky to have him. Not that she's not good; she's a pretty great person too, body and mind. I'm so glad the story ended like that. It's so much better than a bitter one.(Trust me, you'd really made me think twice about this story ending happily.) All in all, you really brought your characters to life and the events were written very eloquently. The plot was well thought of and original, and this is the first story I've read based so prominently on baseball (or sport, for that matter). I can tell you are a huge baseball fan, though I didn't really understand all the terms you used in this story. I got a little muddled up whenever the chapter is about a game or the characters' position in the team. Withal, I really enjoyed reading this story and the ups and downs of your characters. They were all pretty realistic so I'd no trouble comprehending. Btw, I'm sorry for not reviewing A Perfect Game, but I think this sequel is higher in quality as it touched more deeply on the character's feelings. In your author's notes in chapter 37, you've mentioned alot of loose ends and I think it would be a good idea to write another story based on one or two of the other characters in this story. I know you'd said you are not going to (I think), but it would be worth a shot. Anyway, I do think that this story has a lot of sweet moments, including passionate ones ;) ...so I congratulate you for writing this story so well. I might read your other stories in the near future so see you in a while! |
