Reviews for To Be Young and in Love
Manuel Fajar chapter 1 . 3/31/2006
Time a way has of making thoughts take form,

Yesterday's wishes become today's life,

As surely as a seed in fertile ground,

Sprouts forth in green when given sun and rain,

So love's intentions and pretensions form,

A structure that two hearts will follow on,

Where touch and hugs and kisses branch outwards,

To tips where bud red roses of heart's care,

With fragrance permeating happiness,

That fills with bliss each moment's short delight,

And, hopefully we never reach the point,

Of looking at love's other and thinking,

¿What am I doing here with this person,

In the short days that I have left of life?

So few soul's tears wept over prayer's said,—

Many,—heart's travails,—for wishes, fulfilled.

A.N. Truman Capote said something to the effect, "there are more tears cried over prayers answered than there are over unanswered prayers."
