Reviews for A Selkie's Love
J.J.M. Fisher chapter 1 . 12/8/2004
Your poem was penned very beautifully. I was drawn in at the beginning and held captive for the entirity. Though it reminisces of the old selkie tales, you added such a Shakespearen climax that, in my opinion, gave it a professional flare. It is worth publishing in the future, perhaps in a collection of your other poems. The fluid nature reminded me of Percy Bysshe Shelley's poems, as well, especially "Ode to the West Wind". Very nice, indeed! I loved reading it.
Quarantine chapter 1 . 11/26/2004
This is really sad... moving... i really like it... it rhymed beautifully, nothing seemed forced into place... i can't say anything else... so sad...
oceandemon chapter 1 . 11/25/2004
This poem has such a sweet sadness to it. In life the two couldn't be with each other, but death brought them back to one another. Beautifully written.
