I figured I could review this interesting little piece since I'm bored and it seems like you've got only idiotic douchebags saying anything about it. You're a liberal if you say you are a liberal. You're a conservative if you say you are a conservative. You're neutral if you say you're neutral. These are things we decide by ourselves, not the people around us and those people have no right to label anyone by our beliefs, the color of our skin, the things we write, etc... Humans today, however, don't seem to realize that and have an extreme lack of MANNERS. I find it ironic that you would review something of thiers and criticize what they wrote and they would only come back and rant in return in a boring review. Funny how something peaceful, like a simple review, could turn into a war involving an essay and some 30 flames. I'm not sure who I'm writing this to: Cthulhu or the morons who have reviewed Cthulhu. Either way, I hope a point is getting across.

I can't promise that i'll be very literate at this late hour but i sorta understand your rant.. It isn't an essay though lol But ignoring that... Liberal and conservative were two terms that came about in France during their revolution. You had the right-wing folks who weren't that extreme and then you had the left-wing folk who were. And after meeting after meeting, convention after convention the terms of someone being conservative, or someone not willing to drastically change or reform everything. And liberal- was someone who was willing to go to the extreme and fight mostly for the underdog, which wasn't clearly spelled out but implied.

At that, the terms then spread throught and here in America they had a very different connotation than they have today... They use to be words describing the way someone would view how to handle the ecconomy. Heck, even ask the founder of the official American Conservative movement. The way 'conservatives' are viewed today are (and i'm being highly sterotypical in this so forgive me...) Bible thumping, pro-life, anti-capital punishment, super religious gurus mostly Catholics (that's a fact actually lol), and the terms have now been swished around to form this moral lables that origionally had a politcal sanction. But whatever...

Guess that's what happen, no? times change...story of the world.

(And all that i wrote is based on what i've learned thus far. I probably am wrong, and feel free to correct me lol i don't mind. Heaven forbid someone has all the answers )
