|Reviews for Torn Apart|
| Matthew James Current chapter 1 . 3/6/2007
Lovely, romantic, contemplative but not overly so. Very nice work I must say.
I am always a fan of work that combines philosophy or deep thought with poetry. It is more prose than poem, but works well and captures your thoughts clearly. Very nice work for someone your age.
You have very good potential it appears.

It's very open but I think I would bet my last half of cent that this was about L-O-V-E! Am I right? Am I, Am I?

I know it's open to interpretation but I'd love to know what you were thinking about when you wrote it. Free verse is always interesting to read, very Emily Dickinson of you! ;) It seems to convey an emotion I think most people feel as a teenager. Torn between two different things you want to do with your life. I feel like that lately, not sure if it's best to live smartly or live well. *sigh* heaven only knows.
| behind the velvet curtain chapter 1 . 5/15/2005
Once again, very nice. I like how the lines are longer than in most poems. It's interesting.I'm also torn by a decision I have to make... I don't know what yours is, but whatever you've got to choose between I hope you figure it out.
