| Bitch Du Jour chapter 1 . 12/14/2004
This is an exquisite mixture of remorse and I almost sense envy. Though the people hurt this midwinter butterfly, it seems it is out of spite. This is a beatiful piece of poetry, and thank you for sharing it.
| Little Miss Shadow chapter 1 . 12/13/2004
"We slice your skin with out unforgiving smiles" should be "we slice your skin with *our* unforgiving smiles", but that was the only technical error if I remember correctly. Has almost a sort of mystic tone to it, I can appriciate this poem in particular because I am reading a book entitled "Prodigal Summer" by Barbara Kinsolver and it is giving me a whole new appriciation for nature, but especially the butterfly and the moth. This was pieced together quite delicately, giving realizm to the butterfly at hand, almost to the point that the words seem as paper-thin and delicate as the butterfly's wings. Lovely, really.
