![]() ![]() ![]() Oh nicely executed. A very tempting prologue, I definitely want more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing story. Heartwrenching. |
![]() ![]() I loved the ending. It made the whole story so much better. But then again I’m very fond of ends that live rum for speculations, and endings that isn’t your every day fairytale. It gave away a feeling of completeness, but still leaving room for your own imagination to run free… I just simply love how you ended it; because love is the only word that I feel is suited. |
![]() ![]() I am absolutely stunned by the beauty of this story, the depth of emotions and the way you can identify with the characters without ever have actually been in that situation is just phenomenal. I'm not ever sure what I should say other than that you deserve to be published. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ' "Not really." ' That hit me right there. In all honesty, the whole story hit me right there. For me, 'not really' would be one statement that would wrap itself around the whole story. And explain it. Keep it cocooned for all it's worth. A blanket of sorts. But not a security one. Disregard the nonsensical nonsense. Stories like this make me do that. You seem to have this talent, or maybe it's just the way you came across for this story. But. You have this talent to make palpable clichés seem... real. You tear away at all the layers until, your boiling it right down to its essense. It's that essense, that made this story. That may just be me, but if it wasn't for the whisperings of reality and making it seem... as if this could really happen. As if this was really happening to that neighbour you once had, but is know living a whole sea away from you. Not that, the steady and almost graceful flow of this story; the almost ease you seem to write this in, or at least present it; or the personably flawed characters that worm their way into your heart; didn't make the story too. Take all that, wrap it in a silk package with polka dotted ribbon - and this is what you get. Something so deep and complex. That it just can't be easy. You can't have asked for it. I'll admit, I found myself crying, quite a lot actually; in several parts of this story. Coz I felt for that little boy who used to dream; I felt that heart beating so rapidly, it's almost as if it could fly out of your chest and never come back; that gnawing pain he never could get rid of; that man you always resented but his death still meant something; that other man who never loved you; and just the simple truth. Too much emotion, too much truth. It hurt. You know what I truly appreciate about this story, though? The fact. You didn't sugarcoat the ending. You didn't make everyone happy. Coz you can't cater to everyone. If you hadn't done that. I would've been disappointed. Coz for this story, it just had to be that way. But you left it open, and I'm glad for that. But I still can't see Aiden and Allen happily ever after. Honestly. I can imagine them floating on that big piece of water we call a sea. Sitting in a small and rickety fisherman boat. Leaving it all behind. But not really. You left it as a fairytale's fairytale. Be good, do good, and keep doing that good thing you do. Cheers, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Bisexual. Look, it's a dead body... ! It's a girl... Let's poke her boobs! Morbid, am I not? |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was beautiful. Oh, god. I loved that more than you can imagine. Thank you for writing this. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() Wow. I mean wow. This story is amazing. I am inspired by your writing skills. You are such a talented author! This story is absolutely amazing, and surprisingly deep. I got chills... and that has to be one of the best compliments I can give. This story had an effect on me, I feel changed. Thank you for writing this. |
![]() ![]() This is indie movie material ya know. ) |
![]() ![]() Heya, you said I could still find this story here, so of course I had to come read it. x3 I think it's well written and I really liked the relationship, but despite it had a kind of "real" setting, since their names were kind of random, it didn't really fit. Also all the something-bad-has-to-happen-for-something-good-to-happen-to-Aiden was a little much for me, because all the events were a bit drastic. But I'm sure you've heard all this before, and you did say the fic was dead, so I should probably shut up. xD I did enjoy reading it though. _ |
![]() ![]() ![]() This, I believe is the best fiction I have ever read (and reread for that fact) on fictionpress. I can't wait to read some of your other work. mars |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw...this fic was really cute, and I'm so glad I happened upon it! Well, maybe cute isn't the right word, but it had something touching, and I felt right along with Aiden and Sylvain/Allen. I think Aiden was a bit oblivious during the whole Sylvain thing *winks* but that's what characters are for, isn't it?Great writing, Wormy PS. If you do another fic, you might want to up your descriptions and scenes a little. Just a suggestion. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm one of those people who really finds it hard to get into original stories...usually the characters just don't seem to click with me. In light of that "My Life in Pictures" has really got me hooked. I love Aidan to pieces and the plotline is truly original. I like how the whole story isn't just focused on the romance aspect; It's interesting to read about how the cast grapples with trying to 'make it' as actors. Please keep up the fantastic work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() i was wrong...although i dont really like yaoi, I felt to bad, and so, I took a look at your story. your story is interesting, and is good, I'm really sorry...i didn't even remember what I had typed...I know you didnt flame her...I was just upset and took all my frustration out on you...please accept my appology...I dont care how you make it known...even if you dont...please tell me... |
