I adore this story on multiple levels. I especially loved drugged Moria. I love anything Moria. Woot. Just a few noes of amusement:

"This one…interests…me..."Yes, I'm sure he does.

"...No two-bit boy looking like a slut-" You HAD to put that in there. God!

Moria's and Bradley's men should team up and beat the evil guy to death. O.o;;

This story doesn't look as if it's headed for happy endings. But it's still such a wonderful story and I'm so glad that I actually made myself have time to sit down and read it. I'd be missing out on a lot if I hadn't

Though I must ay that sitting still for three hours has not been easy. Especially on Easter with candy and hyperness... tends not to work out in my favor.

Even so, I love your characters and the story line. It's classic and tragic. And you can see both sides of the story, so neither Moria nor Bradley can be made out to be evil at this point. Torture is essential in the obtianment of information at points in war. Obeying the orders to do so is imperative.

And even so, all in all, Moria is a very dignified character. Through his lust and crazy child-like demeanor, he remains a lovable character. Or maybe I'm just crazy and love sadistic bad-boy ukes. Who knows?

I really do like Antonio Piza and Rivers... they are a nice couple. Plus I just love the name Antonio, because the shortened version, Tonio, is so cute. And Montana being so protective of little Tonio (I made my own nickname for him. Wow, I really do like him!) is absolutely precious. The two of them together seem to ease the pain and worry, if only a little. To have each other when they die will hopefuly prove to be a comfort. I really couldn't say. At least someone to hold on to.

The story line is in an amazing direction. I'm always so impressed with how you pull of your stories. I want to say that you write them and elaborate on the plot as you go. If you do, be happy to know that you are one of few I have seen to do that effictively and correctly.

And how the characters interact after a while, how the opposing sides get used to each other, is pretty true in real life. The angst and the action, all possible. Now, I'm not too sure about battling it out over a disk with another planet, but this IS a fantasy story, right? *smiles*

I'm starting to think that Moria's lust for Bradley has grown into something more; and Bradley's hatred and lust for Moria has grown into true caring. They act like a married couple at times, just much, much more violent, by all means.

I think I'm going to fall over now. My brain is dead from all this reading and writing. I just want to go to bed now. _;; Sad, ne?
