So I've known it's been forever, but wow, this story is absolutly amazing. I read it way back when, you know when you first began and updated week to week. In 05, 04 I suppose. I fell in love with your style and story. This is one of my most favorite time frames in history and the perspective you bring to it is amazing. So if you get this, is there anywhere I could read it? _ You're very secretive, but with a piece of work like this, I don't blame you. You should serious consider getting this published. I pray you haven't abandond this story because it's a masterpiece in the making. Hope your life is well, and I that after years of waiting, you might update the story once again. These characters are so utterly believable! I was completely hooked. Not only Marion and Karl, but Ernst and Hanna as well.

I believe this has the makings of quite a bestseller.

It's going quite well. I think the revision is cohering now as a whole, rather than a collection of chapters. It's reading like a novel, not a collection of forum posts.

Josh is quite tickled by his re-appearance as an adult, although he did say rather wistfully that he never had grey hairs. Teddy's maternal grandfather was a doctor, and he himself seriously considered medicine as a career

This story is amazing. I went to print it out, but accidentally printed the pages on top of eachother, I didn't think I could sit through 11 chapters, but I did, because this is just so amazing. The characters are great and the story really flows.I'm definately adding this to favrites and you to alerts, because I'd hate to miss a chapter.

Wonderful first chapter! I feel like I already know so much about Marion and Karl after only having just met them. And I love the setting and how they're seperated by their nationalities- such a great base for a storyline! I can't wait to read more!

I regret taking so long to find this, because now I've finished up the whole lot at once and have to wait for your pleasure and free time to hear any more of it. This is adoravle. I love the characters. I love their natural flow and their moments of awkwardness. I love Karl's unabashedly romantic nature. Really well done in this.
