This is odd, but funny. That's always a nice mixture for a sci-fi fic. Sometimes I wish other sci-fi writers would be a little less pretentious with their stuff. Your style, however, is very refreshing in comparison. Nice work!

P.S. I would have made a rebuttal in "'Zine There, Done That", but I CAN'T understand why so many girls obsess over this stuff. I'd ask them, but we don't get along very well.
