I love this poem's ending. It is so "beautifully corrupted." I think the line that said "(though she never quite understood the concept of marriage, but just liked the dress)" was somewhat unnesccessary. I agree with the statement, but I don't think it went very well with the flow of the poem. Didn't mean to offend!

I like this poem very much. It's simple but meaningful, and kind of exudes innocence, or rather the wisdom of children. What she says throughout the poem is simple and logical, especially the last bit, and it sounds like the kind of uncluttered but profound thing a child would say. I don't know if your subject is a child or not but that's the idea that first comes to mind; perhaps because of the mention of fairies and princesses. Very nice! Spiv
