PirateGrrl chapter 37 . 1/16/2006 Well, Trent and Brett seem to be getting on and that's a good thing. I'm definitely interested in the crew heading over to Terry's. |
PirateGrrl chapter 36 . 1/16/2006 [“’We’?” Brian smirked. “Australians.” “Ah. ‘They’ then.” “Cut that shit out, okay?” Damon groused. “Just making sure you know you’re coming home … with us.”] Heh. That's cute. Brian's even attached to Damon now. 'bout time, as well. Now that they're in Australia, I wonder how everything will go down. |
PirateGrrl chapter 34 . 1/16/2006 It's cute that Brian got choked up from the gift of China. It was really sweet. It was really sweet of Damon and Cody to do the party for him, too. It's cute that Damon was jealous of Niko for a while. XD And that Brian and Matt invited themselves to the Australia trip. Hahahaha! Now after that, everyone's going with Damon and Trent to Australia. XDXD |
PirateGrrl chapter 33 . 1/16/2006 [Hell, Cody must emit some sort of truth serum or something, Damon griped to himself when he was done.] Exactly what I thought, really. Cody's just that kind of guy. It seems that once you enter his trust and you put yours in his, all pasts and all problem situations just fly right out of your mouth. He's a good ear. He listens. And the fact that he offers his help just shows what a great guy he his. Well, they both are. (That is, Cody and Grant). [“Just that I get the feeling you’ve never really had anyone in your corner,” Cody said. “I don’t mean a lover. I mean family ... people who consider you one of their own. That’s the way Grant and I feel, you know. You’re one of our boys now.”] This just proves my above point. He's just a great person. Wonderful chapter. |
PirateGrrl chapter 32 . 1/16/2006 [It was torture, listening to one’s lover speak to his ex on the phone. But it would have been just as uncomfortable, if not more so, if he was somewhere else, wondering what they were talking about and if Damon regretted his choice.] I can definitely understand Trent's feelings here. But yes, he has to learn to trust Damon. I'm glad this chapter ended well (with Damon and Brett in more or less an easy kind of conversation - comfortable.) |
PirateGrrl chapter 31 . 1/16/2006 Trent is an awfully good mediator. Well, done, badass(my new nickname for him). XD Lee is a funny sort of kid. The kind you can still adore even when he has his tantrums. So, Damon's going to call Brett, is he? Interesting. |
PirateGrrl chapter 30 . 1/16/2006 Holy fucking shit. Trent is a badass. I love the way he handled the situation with Dirk, Will and Tom at the office. Good Job, Buddy. You are a badass. |
PirateGrrl chapter 29 . 1/16/2006 [Though he knew Damon cared for him … hell, he’d confessed that earlier that day as well … he’d never said he actually loved him. And since Trent did in fact love Damon, he knew this put his heart in a precarious position. But he dared not bring it up with the Australian, not wanting to rock the still-fragile relationship boat. Looking at his brother and Brian, though, it was difficult not to. They had what he’d always wanted … a committed and permanent relationship.] Dammit, Trent! What did I say? Relax and enjoy it. XD Good thing that Matt's there to talk some sense into him. Damon does love him, otherwise he wouldn't be stringing him along like this. Damon isn't heartless, for Fuck's sake. XD [“This isn’t just a convenience for me now. I can’t stop feeling this way, so I decided to make the relationship real. I know you have a problem accepting the fact, but you’ll just have to fucking get used to it. Okay?”] Damon lays down the law. Trent, you'll just have to fucking get used to good things happening to you. Okay? XD Great chapter. |
PirateGrrl chapter 28 . 1/16/2006 Dammit. FP ate my review! Let's try again: Trent sure is down on himself (doubting reality when it's right in front of him). Come on, Trent, good things can happen to you. Just relax and enjoy it. |
PirateGrrl chapter 27 . 1/16/2006 [“Mate, if they’re asleep, they’re probably exhausted from their own … activities,” Damon smiled in amusement.] They're probably still at it if the last two chapters was any indication. XDXD I'm glad that Damon told Trent how he really feels. Trent's a really awesome guy and he deserves someone who really cares about him. Now that he has that in Damon, everything is how it should be. Great chapter. |
PirateGrrl chapter 26 . 1/16/2006 I believe I will grow to hate Dirk more as chapters go on and time progresses but right now I hate him more than I ever did. He's gross. Disgusting. By the end of this chapter I hate him so much more than I did at the beginning of this chapter. Damn. He's a villian. And you can write villians. |
PirateGrrl chapter 25 . 1/16/2006 It pleases me greatly to read that Brian's referring to Dirk as a hemorrhoid. XDXDXD [“The Dick’s not here yet?” Damon whispered casually to Trent] I love Damon, really I do. It would be interesting to see Damon slip and call him that and neglect to correct himself. Wow, what Dirk did to poor Doug is astounding. Frankly I'm not surprised (by your foreshadowing) that Dirk wants Trent. I'm just glad that Trent knows he's greasy and slimy and a dick. |
PirateGrrl chapter 24 . 1/16/2006 In response to you a/n: of course they can't have sex in every chapter. Then you wouldn't have a story, you'd just have PWP (which all in all would still be Good Times, but I want to know what else Brian, Cody and Matt have up their sleeves. Not to mention how Trent and Damon's relationship is going to develop.) So, no worries, just write. I'll still read it :D [Damon watched in fascination. In all honesty, Christmas hadn’t been one of his favorite holidays until he’d met Brett. This year, when he’d left home, he’d expected to spend the day alone or at a club, thoroughly pissed out of his mind. Weird how things turned out.] I really like these couple of lines. It shows how far he's come and that he's happy now. Weird how things turned out in his favor? Yeah, I guess it could be, I usually think the same when good stuff happens to me, but he needs a little happiness in his life. [Salmon with dill-creme freche!] Holy shit that sounds so good. [“Um, what did you give them?” Trent whispered in Damon’s ear. “A couple of costumes.”] *is fucking dead* Costumes, eh? XDXD [“If you take that much offense to it, I’ll be the maid,” Grant sighed theatrically. “You’re too top heavy!” Cody retorted. “Besides, I’d never make a convincing cowboy.”] *is dead from funny* The mental image is hilarious. The last paragraph was a perfect way to end this chapter. Kudos, doll. :D |
PirateGrrl chapter 23 . 1/16/2006 It's cute that Trent's so excited/happy that it shows on his face, for everyone to see. I'm glad Trent has found someone to make him that happy. [He just didn’t want those nosy fathers finding out … they’d probably be delighted … and ready to ‘help’ in their own special meddling way.] They are rather nosy, aren't they? XD Can't help but love them, though. [“Look, no one knows anything, Damon,” Brian assured him] No, not everyone knows, but they soon will. :D Brian and Damon friends? Well, finally. They have a common background and they both want Trent to be happy. They should be friends. It's good that Damon decided that he will tell Trent about himself, even if it's not on Christmas. [“Damon’s not in his room,” Cody said quietly to Brian as he stirred the granola pancake batter. Brian was frying up the bacon and glanced up nervously. Cody smiled benignly, knowing that the small blonde still tensed when caught unawares. “He … he’s in …” “Trent’s room?” Brian nodded and stared back down at the bacon. “Well, that works in our favor.”] XDXDXD |
PirateGrrl chapter 22 . 1/16/2006 Brian is a devious little guy, isn't he? Now Trent and Damon are so wrapped up in each other. Literally, as well. XD Good Times. |
