Hmm interesting, I used to be a "Christian," it kinda deserted me, or I it, or whichever I feel is more close to the truth at any one time :P I don't know anymore. This is a really interesting slant to the "afterlife," nice job.

Ponytail Goddess chapter 1 . 8/2/2005
This is interesting; very thought provoking, in fact. However, God is a very forgiving and loving God...I believe if you ask for it, he'll forgive mistakes made during youth, as well as during any other time in one's life.

You commented on my poem, Trading Lust for Love and I'd like to reply to you right here (you don't have your email on your profile, so this'll have to do). You asked why lust was such a crime. I don't really know about your faith or whether you believe in God or not, but I do. I'm not condemning all sexual desire in my poem...that's great; I mean, God created it; of course it's great. Lust, however, is sexual desire minus honor and holiness (quoted by John Piper). It usually happens outside of marriage and has the potential to consume a person's life (I'm referring to porn, sexual fantasies, masturbation, etc.).

Anyways, if you read the Bible, there are many verses that condemn this sort of behavior. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 says "Flee from sexual immortality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." There are many more where that came from, if you'd like me to send you some more, but yeah, that's why I wrote the poem and why I believe lust is a bad thing.

I hope you're not annoyed or anything that I stuck this in your review. I just felt compelled to explain myself. Thanks for hearing me out.

I did enjoy your poem though. Nice work.

We believe in you chapter 1 . 7/29/2005
God does no filing, for you nor any of his other youthful children. Our King would still embrace you and hold you though you may not have repented for your blessed sins. His love for you shall never cease to exsist even if you want it too b/c you now know, all grown up, that you are not worthy of his everlasting love. Juliet the answer to the statement you did not make a question, is yes.
does it even matter chapter 1 . 7/29/2005
of course without a doubt he will forgive you, he died for you so you could be forgivin. why do you doubt someone who will never stop loving you?

Need 'n' Know chapter 1 . 6/4/2005
Of course! God forgives us all... no matter what. And even though some of us have done horrible, HORRIBLE things, we can repent for it. You must believe that it is best not to hold onto the past!

Don't keep grudges. Set them free. You've got enough worries in life. Why make it more difficult by holding onto the past? If you don't like something, why do you keep thinking about it? If it hurts you so, why do you constantly remind yourself of it? The past is the past. It's done, finished! Make your life better by turning towards the future... or make OTHERS' lives better.
