Well, I'll have to say again that Oxentiel is really some unpleasant fella. Interesting lessons here in this chapter again. Like the way you portrayed them. I don't think I can even do half as good. Adriel really seems to be rather pissed, huh? I really wonder about her magic nature. It really seems that she's not cut out to be fairy. Wonder who's the student Oxentiel was talking about...

Yay, I like this story so far. It made me laugh at the end, and I also liked how she changed the textbook around. Twas clever. But it's great!

wonderfully done! The story seems to be focusing in more and reaching towards the climax! So now we know for sure that Adriel is a sorceress, I think you hinted at it before, but now I'm glad to know for sure why she was having so much trouble with the fairy magic. I look forward to seeing how the contest turns out, the power measuring things was a good idea, gets rid of a lot of the competition right off the bat. I can't wait to see what other types of tests you'll have Lucie go through!And I know this probably sounds weird, but I'm really starting to like your Madame Oxentiel character. Not that she's suddenly a nice motherly figure or anything like that, far from it really, but she is becoming rather fun to read. I like how she dealt with Lucie and Adriel after their little venture to the Obsidian Building. She's not evil, exactly, but she is a stickler for rules. And clever. A most interesting up the good work! I look forward to your next update! (hopefully I'll review that one a bit more quickly, sorry it took me so long to get to this one!)~SCR

I'm definately going to keep reading this story, but it may take me awhile to finish. Until then, I'll review as I go. I was little confused at the beginning of the story, as I wasn't quite sure of the setting, but that was rectified quite quickly so it was only a problem for a very short time. No big deal, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Keep in mind it may have just been me being confused. Other than that I really have no criticisms. I really like your style, it has a nice flow to it, and your main character was instantly likeable. I found the examination scene extremely interesting Can't wait to start spotting the parallells with Sleeping Beauty!

Well, another well detailed chapter! Well, I guess Solaris and Jacques are a pair of rather nice guys, huh? And as for Oxentiel eating the eggs... man, that makes me sick... like the explanation on the magic classes as well. The interaction was also quite well done as well too. Katarina seems to be an absolute bitch to me. Never like her in the first place. The gift giving lesson was also interesting as well...

Well, good chapter again! I personally like the part of the written test and obstacle test. They were rather explicit to me. And yeah, maybe Adriel should learn how to control her magic too... anyway, on to the next chapter!

I have to admit, I didn't read as closely as I should have. I promise I'll read back through for any problems later, but at this point I was just devouring the story!

I agree with Xecenda. This story is fun to read and is light-hearted, really reminding me of Harry Potter. But you have your own style.

The whole concept of a magic school really interests me as well. And telling a classic story like Sleeping Beauty from a different perspective is a cool idea too.

I like Lucie- she seems very sincere. :D
