Yay, sorry I haven't reviewed in so long... but anyway, I liked this chapter because of Madame Oxentiel; it was absolutely disgusting when she ate the robin. It was a perfect touch for the evil headmistress... I also really liked the Specialized class, how it explained that fairies could give gifts, and the limitations. Good job.

Love it, love it, love it! I'm interested to see exactly how it does affect the econonmy - as well as how they make clothes! I mean, if they can't make yarn... Hmm. Adriel was great and I'm really wondering what's going on with her family now. Can't wait for more - hopefully it won't take so long for me to read it next time!

I do like reading a story where I feel utter confidence in the writer behind it. You write very well - in a few lines, you have brought to life an incredible vivid character with an equally strong voice. I look forward to reading some more of this tale tomorrow.

Um, I like this story, but why does Lucie seem so...mean and spoilt? I mean, she's always thinking bad things about Adrien when she knows that Adrien is more powerful than her...it's starting to annoy me, and making me think of her as a child. But I still like this story! Keep up the good work!

Heh. I'm very amused by Dorinda's comments about the blanket being beautiful, and also the comments about the baby crying.

And, oh, we finally get to meet Selena. However, you're missing a period after the emphasized 'natural' in the paragraph where she gets introduced, I think.

Hmm, and in the paragraph where Dorinda gives her gift-poor Dorinda, having hers stolen!-'It will be her gift back to Cairus, for the people to her voice wafting through the streets'. Methinks you're missing a 'hear' somewhere in that sentence.

Oh, but I loved the ending to this-and especially that last line! Poor Adriel, too. The only thing that didn't make sense about this chapter was how she was able to defeat Selena so easily, when Selena was supposedly the most powerful Sorceress, anywhere, and Adriel is just a girl who got beaten up by a teacher and ran away from school-admittedly, yes, very powerful, but -that- powerful?

Maybe Selena had a reason to not interfere?

Will this be revealed further on in the story?

Actually, that's a question. Were her wings really broken? I couldn't really tell whether she was flying or not, through part of that, but...oh, I'm confused. Ouch, though.
