|Reviews for When Time Sleeps|
| softlycryingrain chapter 17 . 6/2/2006
very interesting with Adriel and Voltaire!I liked your description of the wings and Lucie's reaction...poor Lucie! I feel so sorry for her right now, getting stuck with a future she doesn't want...anyway, sorry for not reviewing for so long! And for making this review so short, I want to move on to the next chapter quickly and leave a longer review there...talk to ya then!
| The Gobbler chapter 9 . 5/30/2006
Yay, sorry I haven't reviewed in so long... but anyway, I liked this chapter because of Madame Oxentiel; it was absolutely disgusting when she ate the robin. It was a perfect touch for the evil headmistress... I also really liked the Specialized class, how it explained that fairies could give gifts, and the limitations. Good job.
| CerriC chapter 18 . 5/14/2006
Mistakes:"day, one he married the princess." - One should be 'once' or 'when'"weren’t natural I guess that was" - missing period after 'natural'"for the people to her voice" - missing 'hear'"anyone who uses on from this" - 'on' should be 'one'
Love it, love it, love it! I'm interested to see exactly how it does affect the econonmy - as well as how they make clothes! I mean, if they can't make yarn... Hmm. Adriel was great and I'm really wondering what's going on with her family now. Can't wait for more - hopefully it won't take so long for me to read it next time!
| Katiefoolery chapter 1 . 5/6/2006
I do like reading a story where I feel utter confidence in the writer behind it. You write very well - in a few lines, you have brought to life an incredible vivid character with an equally strong voice. I look forward to reading some more of this tale tomorrow.

Um, I like this story, but why does Lucie seem so...mean and spoilt? I mean, she's always thinking bad things about Adrien when she knows that Adrien is more powerful than her...it's starting to annoy me, and making me think of her as a child. But I still like this story! Keep up the good work!
| Eyetk chapter 18 . 3/8/2006
And Part 2 begins...dun dun dun.
"You give her that and you'll make people realize that Fairy Godmothers have a lot more power than they thought."
"Maybe people need to see that."
"Maybe they don't."
Oh, so amused about the dresses! And now I'm thinking of the Disney cartoon. Brilliant!
Heh. I'm very amused by Dorinda's comments about the blanket being beautiful, and also the comments about the baby crying.
And, oh, we finally get to meet Selena. However, you're missing a period after the emphasized 'natural' in the paragraph where she gets introduced, I think.
Hmm, and in the paragraph where Dorinda gives her gift-poor Dorinda, having hers stolen!-'It will be her gift back to Cairus, for the people to her voice wafting through the streets'. Methinks you're missing a 'hear' somewhere in that sentence.
Oh, but I loved the ending to this-and especially that last line! Poor Adriel, too. The only thing that didn't make sense about this chapter was how she was able to defeat Selena so easily, when Selena was supposedly the most powerful Sorceress, anywhere, and Adriel is just a girl who got beaten up by a teacher and ran away from school-admittedly, yes, very powerful, but -that- powerful?
Maybe Selena had a reason to not interfere?
Will this be revealed further on in the story?
With the belief that this chapter is your best yet, I eagerly await the next!

Ouch. Poor Adriel. What did Voltaire -do- to her, exactly? To break her wings?
Actually, that's a question. Were her wings really broken? I couldn't really tell whether she was flying or not, through part of that, but...oh, I'm confused. Ouch, though.
(Yup, I'm back, hee! And trying to return reviews. So, woot! It's interesting...if I look at this chapter, compared to when I first started reading this, it really shows how much you've improved!)
| The Gobbler chapter 8 . 3/4/2006
I like Adriel. She's cool. But these last two chapters were good as they explained the layout of the school and the personalities of all the new people she's meeting. Good job.
| Arkash chapter 7 . 3/1/2006
Hi, I'm back for another chapter.
"What are you doing?" [she] asked. Should be lower case.
Powerful spell, making Adriel smaller.
Why is always the one who defends herself gets in trouble?
Nice chapter, keep it up. *_*
| gabriellafaith chapter 18 . 2/8/2006
I'm still halfway through the last chapter.
She killed Madame Oxentiel too! Didn't she! Didn't she!
| gabriellafaith chapter 17 . 2/8/2006
Ok, I'm not done with this chapter yet, but I had to guess...Did Adriel have something to do with Madame Voltaire? Did she kill her or something? Or something?Or something else?
| gabriellafaith chapter 16 . 2/8/2006
HAH!I knew it! I knew she was going to be the evil one!HA!:P
| gabriellafaith chapter 15 . 2/8/2006
I'm loving how you draw all the parallels between the original story and yours! Now, I've been thinking this for a while, but I'm like, almost positive that Adriel is going to end up being Malevolence. Am I right?
| gabriellafaith chapter 13 . 2/8/2006
Aw! That's so sad! I can't imagine what it would be like to not feel at home when you're at home. Though, I do know what it's like. I've been there...
