|Reviews for Greek Mythology Haikus|
| Silversong2 chapter 6 . 3/3/2006
You really enjoy haiku format, don't you? :)
I didn't like this haiku because it seems disjointed, like there's no cohesive meaning. It's about Ajax, but there's no point, I guess is what I'm saying. I like the bit about his death, but the first line seems like it's this random detail, especially since he's not like famed for his shipmast-spear.
Ajax actually killed himself out of shame. He went mad and thinking that a herd of cattle (or something) were the Greek leaders/his companions, he killed them for slighting him (the whole armor business). When he regained his sanity, he realized he'd gone temporarily mad and killed all these cattle and was so shamed by this, I guess, weakness that he committed suicide.

Quite nice. Just a suggestion: include some more imagery and symbolism.
