Woooooowwww. Ok. Um, that proposal, while she was eating with her past Fiance? Sam's a jerk. I feel this is still a little rushed, maybe more thought should be put into it. But otherwise it's good. I like the Story. ;)

I actually feel like you're rushing the Story a bit, but it's still okay. I like the plot of him forgetting, it's just a little straight forward I guess. I dunno, we'll see :)

aw! I kept dabbing my eyes throughout this story, feeling Carrie's pain. Wonderful original plot! The only thing I would suggest, is more Jake/Carrie interaction. Like sitting down and and talking about what they like and life philosophies in general.. so that Jake gets to know Carrie more.. thus trigering his curiosity about the familiarity of the things she says, and a stronger basis for thinking that he has 'fallen for her' (it was somewhere in a chapter from his point of view). I loved reading this story from start to finish, please keep writing more!
