| n.p-simmons chapter 1 . 4/27/2010
Okay... interesting way to put it. This is quite dark, but considering the context I think it would be hard to find another similarly-themed poem that is light-hearted and jovial.
I might be assuming the actual subject here, so let me ask: I'm thinking the fear of death and old age overwhelmed you a bit one day? *If that sounds harsh, then I've probably written it wrong...*

I love this poem because of all the biology in it xD I can't help but think 'Apoptosis' would be a nice alternate title, hehe.
The second to last (that would be penultimate, right?) just killed me. So heavy with meaning!

Whoa. That's kinda um... really depressing. haha But it was interesting too, actually! :D

Powerful, with great imagery.
'If the world doesn't eat me, I am killed by old age.' Best line.
Good poem, I like it!

Original and interesting poem. I love the line 'if the world doesn't eat me', it has a cool dark humour quality to it. Good job.
