Oh golly, so many emotions! I thought that Nora and Sawyer were just adorable! I was positively beamning when she kissed him! That part was perfectly done! Perfectly!I wanted to cry for poor Sarah and Charlie! Will their story have a happy ending? I'm at a total loss of how this can possibly work.I just rolled my eyes dearly at Mary and Ethan because they're just so perfect for each other. Complete lovebirds. lol!I'm excited to see how things will turn out for Emy and Gail... well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that having Nathaniel at a hospital might do him good. It seems impossible. But hey, this is a fiction! If we can mix colored photographs with corsets and petticoats, we can heal a sick boy! Right?

I don't know if you had Ethan slip up on purpose and say Wilkes, but if so, it wasa nice Gone With the Wind reference. Charlie is nothing like Ashley in appearance, but he does have the kindness Ashley had and a bit of the cluelessness as well. I really like Ethan's mother, she is a sweetheart, and the scene between Brook and Emy was perfect. Sara and Brook are much better as friends, they don't have the feelings for one another that everyone wants them to have. I also finally know who everyone ends up with from the summary (or hopes to end up with), originally I though they would meet a doctor and a artist on board by then I figured it out:

So they are gone. It's sad, but I guess you cannot drag the experience on the boat out forever. I do hope the Charlie and Sara reconcile, and that Gail and Nathaniel and Nora and Sawyer will see one another again. The kiss between Nora and Sawyer in the first part of the chapter was sweet.

This was a very pleasant chapter to read. It made me want summer to be here.

That was a very sad chapter. I only wish that Nora and Sawyer would get together and Gail was with Nathaniel, nursing his every need like she did on the ship. It's so sad!

I'm really enjoying your story, thank you! However there is one thing: the food. Strange, but of the food your characters eat would not have been served in the time period you are aiming at. Some of the food is also American.

For example, banana chocolate chip muffins and peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies would not be on the menu.

American style muffins, though available in Britain now, were non-existant back then. People would have crumpets, scones or cake instead- not chocolate cake; probably fruit cake (dried fruit, raisins etc.), gingerbread or maybe madeira (plain, or pound) cake. British 'muffins' are a type of bread. Bananas are a tropical fruit, and were very difficult to obtain.

People in England (even now) call 'cookies' biscuits. Peanut butter would not have been used, and I don't think chocolate chips were available, unless they made them themselves.

I'm not sure if they would have eaten spaghetti either. If they did, it was probably served with a cream sauce.

To a reader like myself (from the British 'colonies'), I can tell the author is from America, just by the food. (And also by the American spelling, but don't bother changing that!)

That doesn't stop me from enjoying the story though. I hope I don't sound pedantic or mean. I don't mean to! You're a very good writer, and I love your descriptive passages. My favourite character is Charlie. :D I can't wait for the next chapter!

It seems so weird that they're actually leaving now. I'm really excited for life to begin in Brighton, but I also know that I'll miss them being on the ha! I liked the way you described all of the sailors diving on the cookies! That's totally what it's like when there are treats at dance prcatices and all the guys totally dive forward. Well, actually many of the guys are diving forward to get something for the girls. lol! Flirtatious little gentlemen that they ! Sawyer is so incredibly sweet! He just makes my heart melt. I wonder what will happen with him and Nora!

Oh golly! This was so sad! Having her say adieu instead of just goodbye was perfect!And I like that you had the poem "The Raven." My mom loves to have us read that every year in English at school :)

Gail's in love with Nathaniel, or at least that's what I'd like to think because she's so heartbroken. Poor Emy, I hope that she gets her happy ending with Brook, she deserves it, especially because Sara is in love with someone else. I'm also iffy on whether or not Mary really loves Ethan, that has been kind of ambiguous throughout the entire story. Sawyer is wonderful. I myself have found of the many crushes though, that I don't like the nice guys, maybe one day I'll get over the arrogant Ben Leslie's and find a Sawyer.

Hey Renee. I'm still reading and loving it as always. Im sorry for my lack of reviewing. So, Im thinking, that just to make the world a perfect place, youre going to have Nathaniel miraculousy get better and surprise Gail in Brighton. That would be nice. As for the whole Brook and Emy thing, I hope that Brook doesnt fall for her RIGHT away if thats what youre planning. Im sad to see them leaving the ship because I know its coming close to the end. Great job though. As awlays
