When singing, you just have to forget about everything. That is when true soul and music comes out. You just explained that through 3 simple, yet awesome lines. Good job.

Very powerful yet gentle words! I like the spiritual undertone, whether or not it was intentional. Excellent!

I enjoyed reading this...especially with my love of music. I had a friend who took me to youth group with her...but it was very modern...not the sit-stand type of service I go to. It was free...you could do whatever you want...sing whenever you wanted. I remember telling her...I can't sing, people will laugh at me. She told me to let go...God doesn't care if you can sing well or not. This piece reminds me music does indeed come from the heart. Wonderful job. I look forward to reading more.
