I can see you're a talented writer and this was interesting, I guess I don't buy this guy as a hero or a love interest. The work he does makes him unreliable in my eyes, he says he loves her but has no problem putting naked erotic pictures of her in magazines for the world to see. Even their sex lives are not private, unless this wasn't meant to be a romance but erotica?

Why would a man who loves a woman do that, he is not possessive or protective of her at all, so he couldn't really love her, it's about the sex and probably won't last and why would a woman who has been through the trauma she has allow herself to be degraded like that.
