Okay well talk about beautiful. What a wonderful piece of work. The whole thing is probably my favorite of yours. Refreshing and soft, like Gods hand almost wiping away the tears. Bravo to you once again Andrea, it made me smile. Thank you for that.

Hmm...a tanka...very nicely done. I think I like how you wrote this one, though you are excellent at both tanka's and haiku's! For some reason...when I read this, I think of a child...a young girl...falling asleep after she becomes upset about something...and feeling refreshing, feeling the sun's warmth again when she wakes up...knowing yesterday is behind her. A message that I needed to hear at this particular moment.
Nicely done. The images are rich "Night's velvet hands wash away" and even "Darkness descending," Wonderful work. I look forward to reading more...and encourage you to write more using this structure! I can only hope you enjoying writing in this style and much as I enjoyed reading it!
