*adds to favs* this was simply beautifully written, the writing is just amazing and gives such breathtaking beauty to a piece like this. your words are divine and the imagery is beyond gorgeous, the heartbreaking tension just ends with the last line. pure unadultured poetic beauty.

I really don't like to read and review too many pieces by one author at once (so as to not seem like a crazed fan), but I really liked this one as well. Your imagery and use of words are so beautiful. Poems like yours are the ones that inspire me to keep writing. Hopefully, someday I will be half as talented as you. Once again, great work!
| Lucid Nonsense chapter 1 . 8/19/2005
Beasutiful. I love the metaphoras well. Favorite line- "He was my surrender/as well as the endeavor/that I thought would break me"
| djsaxon2 chapter 1 . 8/19/2005
Antoehr fantastic work. Great metaphor in this one, it seems to have some form of gentle rhythm sometimes, unlike some of your others.
| teodora chapter 1 . 8/18/2005
The cigarette metaphor- absolutely brilliant. And the way it flows and develops it’s well perfect. Maybe not perfect, since nothing is, but damn well near it. Bravo!
| blossomed blooms chapter 1 . 8/17/2005
very mysterious pull through this poem/
is it wrong to want a cigarette (i don't smoke often) after sex... (i don't do that at the moment, or hour, week, month...you get the idea) RIGHT NOW!/
kind of want that hot guy too although i shouldn' feel that fascination.(?) there's always that aloof rebel dude in every town, every school, no matter where. don't know whether to kiss his face or slap his cheek, or maybe the other way around. i'm a lost cause.
| Don't Wake Up chapter 1 . 8/16/2005

Awesome. Very original idea, and beautifully carried out. Far more eloquent than most of the sad love poems on fictionpress.
| Ebony Stars chapter 1 . 8/16/2005
I love your use of symbolism, your metaphors are amazing. The abrupt ending was like a ciggarette burn itself.
| One Desire chapter 1 . 8/16/2005
