Absolutely beautiful. I'm been around this site for well over a year now, and I can honestly say that there are only a select few stories that I have found worth reading. This is one of those precious few. It is capticating, emotional, and straight out wonderfully set. The plot is fantastic, and your character development is terrific. Very high marks on this story.

i saw the chapter notification minutes after u posted this. i opened it and read the A/N..but i was already late for college..when I had to close the page and read it later, my head nearly burst in frustration.

as for this chapter... im not sure if its bcos i miss this story so much..or there was something bout the chapter.. but i really liked it. the whole mystery about Ian..aww.. something is OBVIOUSLY wrong and i cant wait to find out wat.

as for sam and david..i agree that they both have to change first. :) and i think that arguement was a good wake up call for david.

Nice ending. A cliffhanger, but not to the point where it's beyond annoying. I'm really glad you are developing Ian more too. He seemed like an important person at first, but has slowly faded out. The bit of mystery around him is good. Samantha's inner conversations are great, "biatch"s and all. I'm also rather pleased that you had Sam and David hit some real issues about why they aren't friends. It makes the whole situation quite a bit more reasonable. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Ian has cancer, doesn't he? Thats what I think at least. You need to update soon!

SCORE! It's my goal to see just how many chapters I can get dedicated to me. lol No, seriously. Did you really expect me to let anyone but myself review you before I had the chance? PFFT. As if. lol Anyway, I can totally see your Buffy obsessive ways reflected in your writing. And, you're right of course. Twelve seasons of quality writing will stick with you. I know it influences me every once in a while. No, I haven't seen the premiere of Bones. What's that about? I've pretty much given up on TV since Buffy and Angel went off the air. I am, however, psyched about that new movie Serenity. I just love that the evil preacher dude from the last season of Buffy is the good guy... As for sexual tension, I love it. Love it, love it, love it. Can you tell? Look at Cassie and Brent. It's pretty subtle sexual tension, but it's there. I'm nice, yes, but really I'm only giving credit where credit is due. You're a damn good writer, and this story rocks, hence the reason it has become my new obession. :o)

Anyway, now the actual review. lol Let's start it out with a line that cracked me the fuck up "...or when you have really weird dreams about the computer stealing all the Pop-Tarts of the world and ruling supreme. Damned technologically-superior race, stealing my chocolate chippies." Where the freak do you get this shit? lol Your humor never fails to make me nearly wet my pants. But, yeah, much angsty-ness in this chapter. It was one of the times where I spent most of the time going, "Dammit! Just kiss her already! You know you want to!" Plus, angry kisses are always more intense, don't you think? No, in case you were wondering, I did not think they were going to kiss so early on. They're too damn stubborn for that. And that would have been no fun. No fun at all. We've learned from Joss that we need much angst before any groiny action is to occur. lol

Oh, and Ian. What's up with that? Questionable bruises? Hm... I hope he's not sick. That would make me sad. Or am I just reading too much into the bruise? I do tend to overanalyze... OH! Madison is a trip and a half, man! lol She was so funny in this chapter. I loved it. I can totally see why her and Sam are friends... Your inner dialogue was also highly amusing. Anytime your conscience calls you a biatch is a good time. lol Loved it.
