Hmm... I'm reading your author's note about the reviews you received for your previous chapter and how you were peeved with Allie for pointing out the newer name of DID for MPD. Actually, it isn't really clear in the previous chapter that Christian actually knew a lot less because he did stress that the scientific name for Marry's condition was MPD and he seemed quite knowledgeable about various psychiatric conditions and some ideas about treatment and institutions. The fact that he even knew that there were different forms of schizophrenia, or that he could say for certain that Marry had bipolar and not DID says as much. At least, that's how he came across to me. And anyway, when your characters are laying down such important facts with some level of authority, they would reflect the research the author has put in.. I don't blame Allie for thinking you didn't know better, because I wondered as much too... but I suppose it's the way she came across in her reviews that got you upset.

Actually, in my humble opinion, I think you needn't "dumb down" your knowledge just because your readers might not know as much. While you might need to keep things a little simpler for your readers (and I applaud you for remembering that), it might also still be good to keep things a little accurate. People like me actually learn about many things outside our field through reading, and it would actually benefit your readers to learn the correct terms.. Since Christian is already somewhat knowledgeable about Marry's diagnoses (not sure if Marry has actually seen a psychiatrist for his diagnoses though), it wouldn't hurt for him to slip in an explanation what DID actually is, or you could add a little footnote at the end for clarification. You don't really have to compromise that much... and I seriously doubt that using DID instead of MPD would really hurt your story or your readers that much. I'd like to think of learning new terms, new concepts, and new (big) words as enlightenment )

Lastly, I am pretty blunt myself and I probably offend tons of people as well. I do hope that I haven't actually upset you in my previous reviews. Yours is the second story that I'm reading offline and actually attempting to review most chapters intsead of being a silent reader as I've been all these while. As such, I would have left an email address in my last review for you to get back to me as it would be easier for you since I would've had a bulk of questions accumulated at the end. Please understand that I truly do enjoy your story and as a perfectionist, I naturally do nitpick quite a bit but I also try not to do that so much because then it means I can't enjoy your story as much and I don't really want to discourage you. I only point out things in hopes that your story might improve. Really, I think you've got an interesting plot and you write pretty well despite some slips here and there. Do keep up the good work and thanks for providing an enjoyable read. *smiles*

P.S. It's good to know you've got some sort of an FAQ somewhere, no? Hopefully I'll remember to check it out when I get online later. In the meantime... I'm gonna finish the rest of the chapters I've saved! :)

Man... a vampire with Dissociative Identity Disorder (or what most people know as split personality) and who's a borderline as well (considering his crazy attachment to Christian)! This is one screwed up individual!

Oh.. multiple personality disorder is the old name and it isn't actually particularly accurate. It's now known as DID like I just mentioned before. Sorry... you can probably tell now that I sorta type my reviews as I read them chapters *smiles* You'll also see my reviews posted altogether at the same time because that's when I come online to post them all. Some stories just deserve more reviews than they are getting )

She's nauseous all the time... classic symptom of pregnancy! *laughs* I've been suspecting it for a while already. If it were remotely possible at all, it's because of Christian's Fey blood, isn't it? And your description of what he was doing when she came back to her room after dinner and what happened when she woke him up like that was absolutely cute and hilarious!

Okay... I suppose the "He" i was asking about in Chapter 36's review was actually Gabriel. But how come the other characters didn't even ask him who "he" was? Or did I miss something?

That's quite nasty... not letting Raine know the full implications and effects of a marking. I think I would've asked about everything (and even how to reverse it) if I were to do something as serious as being marked by a vampire! *laughs*

And you know, for a few chapters now, I'm not surprised if Raine was Sashia in her past life *smiles*

Christian in Raine's dream was clearly like the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland.. you seriously sure you won't get into trouble for this? *concerned worry*

Hm... Oh why didn't she ask Christian to do this marking thing instead? I have no idea what the repercussions are, but I'm feeling nervous about this!

Who's "he"? That "he" just seemed to come out of the blue.

I'm just curious, but considering that the white rabbit was pretty much a big part of Alice in Wonderland, would you get into trouble for constantly using a white rabbit in Raine's dreams, just as how the white rabbit featured in Alice's dreams? Unless you've got a proper justification for why a white rabbit is essential to this story..

Also, didn't you mention few chapters ago that Christian didn't like to be called "chris"? Raine calls him Chris though.. so what's that? It's interesting to know that it is his Fey blood that makes him more emo than the average Vampire... I've been wondering about his over-emotionality for quite a while. *smiles* But I've got another question though... if he's fairy blood is such a big secret, how did Augustus and Ares even know in the first place when they first met him and wanted to turn him into a Vampire? It sounded as if they recognized it, not that they knew about him before they met him in his village the same day he killed the wolf with just a spear.

And this Raine... the moment she realized Sam's big secret, she's been telling everyone that Sam's actually female. I actually thought better of her... that she would've learnt to respect someone else's secret.

*sigh* Being a vampire is bad enough... but one that is crazy? Mentally unsound? That's worse...

Wait a minute. If they're Asian, how come their name is "Storme"? And if Snow's human and White, how come she has such an odd name like "Snow" (I'd understand if she were Chinese because I'm Chinese and Snow is sometimes used as a name) but Seth, being Chinese, has such a western name?

Hmm.. Your paragraph about the Ancients was quite confusing. One moment, it sounded like the Ancients were vampires, yet they're against vampires, and another moment they sounded as if they were a different species from Witches and Vampires. You might wanna look back at that paragraph and rephrase things a little. Thanks!

Sometimes, this thing with Havoc makes me curious... Are his feelings for Raine 100% platonic? I suppose it mostly is platonic, though ) Havoc's also pretty turning out to be more than what he seems huh? Plenty of development here in your story and characters.
