So finally finished this story and I really hope to get another where Kai is the mc again. I really enjoy his/her story in the end although the climactic end felt a rather rushed but in the end was satisfied. However I really hope for more of Kai focused stories one day and not just as a side character to the main character in dragons.

So I still fail to see why he is so special. The description to this page should be more honest, "This is the story about a protagonists sidekick, the kid who becomes a dragon and helps the protagonists save the world". But seriously I still fail to see why he's in anyway special. He isn't the most powerful of them, Not by a long shot apparently. He isn't uniquely special other than he was born from humans. Like legit what makes him so important that hes the main character of the story cause really this seems more like a long version of a side story than an actual main story.

This story is good enough to be pusblished.

That is... just amazing. It got REALLY confusing at around 50/60 chapters, but the way it's written it all kinda works out in the end.

The only issue I have is that Mirielle's hands REALLY seem to just appear and disappear... It's kinda confusing, because a couple of times you refer to her hooks as "hands" and it just... added to the whole hectic feel of those chapters. This is SUCH a well thought out story though.

And I absolutely love how Kai turned into a girl in the end! It's absolutely perfect! He always seemed like he would be a better girl than a guy anyway.

But then again I'm a girl, so that may just be my prejudice speaking there -laughs-. I really can't wait to read the continuation of Kai's story. It feels like it's just getting started! You really broke it off in a good spot. Usually with series, the way they end the books annoys me, because it's so unresolved! This way you know it's not finished, you know there's more to come, and what's basically going to happen, but you also have a certain amount of resolution going on there.

Oh my... Really great developments, but this has been a totally confusing couple of chapters. I think that may just be me though. I'm having trouble keeping track of who has lost what limb/function.

I've probably started reading this story a few days after first signing up on this site (so far a few years now), and i finally finished it early tis morning. This story is awesome. That's all i have to say about that.

wonderful plot and story, i'm still not sure how i feel about kai being a girl now... i kinda wish she would go back to being a 'he'. XD

Great story. I liked it. But the only thing i disagree with is that im not sure that that's how the girlfriend's mom and brother would react.
