Reviews for Male, Fifteen, Mouth Glued Shut |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing. I love the A/B options. The title was what caught my eye... reminds me of one of some kind of interview. Sex: "Male". Age: "Fifteen". Describe yourself "mouth glued shut".(though not the first two in my case :P) Well done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this. So well done. |
![]() ![]() Brav-o! Excellently written. I fully sympathize with your plight... do what you want with your life. Whether or not that entails coming out is up to you and your level of comfort. Keep up the good writing! |
![]() ![]() Wow, kid, you're being a true poofter about this...be a fucking man. Queers are portrayed as so fuckin girly and as sissies...well, if you (and a lot of others i may add) didn't act as a sissy then that wouldn't happen so much, i don't think. we haven't got to act the way they want us to. Fucking rebel against the stereotypes you was taught to believe and take back your fucking indentity. Don't be anybody else's idea of who you are or you'll go mad. Fuck all else, you're jsut another human being, not a part of anybody's fucking system or machine. Think outside the box, the box of homosexualtiy that we are so willingly building around ourselfs. Don't know about you, mate, but I'd rather be another Matthew Shepard than live my life a fucking lie. Cheers |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is prolly the best poem I've read about homophobia. The layout of the poem is good too. Keep up the good work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() *Cries a little* This is such a sad topic, but you made it so real, and I could imagine some boy really thinkign this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() If it's any consolation, I feel your pain. I'm bi and I have to go through the same things. I'm being raised at Homophobia Central High School! x_x If you ever want to talk, my e-mail is . For some reason, sometimes the e-mail address doesn't show up on the review screen, so if it doesn't, tell me in a review or something. |
![]() ![]() ![]() nod I know how that feels. Lots of homophobic curses and jokes where I live, too- only not 'poof' as much. I -think- that's British. "That's so queer," someone would say, and it's interesting- if you don't think of a 'queer' as one who is gay, it really isn't homophobic. But anyways. You've expressed this effectively- and the layout really helps. |
![]() ![]() ![]() sensitive and interesting (oh i wish poems tackling homophobia were as good as this) I liked the 'a/b' options. |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow. w o w. holy mother. this is so great and so honest and raw and I don't know why you don't have a hundred reviews for it. and I also hate when people call things gay. I always try to defend gay people when my friends start talking shit about it. I know quite a few women who are gay and their sexual orientation doesn't change the way I look at them. But it doesn't make a difference to kids I guess. some people even call homosexuality 'disgusting' and 'wrong' and I just can't even understand how it could be either of those things. love is love. but this is so amazing. this love. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow this is really different. Innovative. Got anything else like this? |
![]() ![]() ![]() nice its one of my favorites and i just read it |
![]() ![]() ![]() oh wow. *wide eyes* *nods* that is so true... |
