This chapter has me asking SO many questions about these two! So Robbie's gay and Clay doesn't know it? Does Clay always flirt with him that much or do they just have a strange friendship? Is Clay straight at the moment, only to be converted later? Argh, the questions! But to hell with the questions- I loved the chapter! You've managed to strike a balance with your humour so that it seems natural; I hate it when people try and be funny...they usually fail.

This is real, funny, adorable, and somehow hot (in a down-to-earth kind of way). Clayton and Robbie are two of my favorite names, so that was way cool too!

I think you really know how to carry a sense of realism without taking it over the edge. (Does that make sense?) You know, you can tell that the characters are horny, immature teenagers but still it doesn't irritate you. It just makes you love them more. (Now that is REAL talent.) I also like your pacing a lot. It's not slow. It's just slow enough to let us feel. (Sorry, I'm too addicted to crappy contradiction sentences like that for my own good. Gah.) The way you sometimes make your characters pronounce words differently is also just fabulous. I really love writers who do that, because that's how we actually talk in real life!

And the first kiss. Good God. It's almost like being kissed yourself. How do you DO that? The bit about the homework at the end was hilarious, too. Just GOTTA LOVE THAT! But I think my favorite part was this one.

"You know you want me… you want to hug me… you want to kiss me… you want to love me… you want to fuck me."

In an ice cream parlor! Love that setting too. It's actually rather unique. I don't think I've seen male lovers talking in an ice cream parlor on FictionPress before. (But then again...what would I know?) Anyway, the end result is i-r-r-e-s-i-s-t-i-b-l-e, and I mean e-v-e-r-y s-i-n-g-l-e d-a-r-n l-e-t-t-e-r.

Conclusion? I TOTALLY worship you. I should really take a leaf out of your book, because I have this tendency to say a lot and go on and on and on without really building anything. That is certainly not the case with you, because you really make us feel the deep friendship and feelings between Robbie and Clay. Ai, just beautiful, really.

Me? I have got SUCH a long way to go. But with your awfully generous support, I think I just might make it. I usually do nto read stories about gay people. Nothing against gay people (love 'em actually) but I just don't.

Yet, I adore your charaters and love how it is both amusing and slightly kinky.

I loved this first chapter; it was a great way of introducing us to your characters (who, btw, I adore! I'm already in love with Clay! *lol*). Robbie and Clay have this great chemistry, and are just hilarious at the same time. Great job and am dying for more (soon? Pretty please?)!

Is there really a pink bubble gum ice cream? I once had ice cream with pretzels in it. Not that exotic, but bubble gum? Blech. Anyway, good start. I like how the starting chapter takes place in the future. Awesome.
