|Reviews for Goodbye, I'm Sailing|

I like the line "I'm barely me."
This poem did remind me of a broadway song, it had that feel of pulsating and you could tell the character was growing in viewpoint throughout - it started out so self-degrading, but ended kind of defiantly. The only line I found really awkward was "I'm failing/at doing this stuff"...I don't know, 'doing this stuff' somehow seemed like a forced rhyme to me. All in all, it was neat to see into the mind of a character like that.
I have to say thanks so much for all your reviews...I really appreciate the feedback. And yes, Into the Woods is simply the best broadway show ever. Glad to find a fellow admirer! :)

Wow! I've said before that your poems and songs are amazingly well-written, but I'm here to say it again. This is excellent! Sort of reminds me of Scipio in Conrelia Funke's The Thief Lord, wanting to grow up at any cost, and it's really well exicuted.
One thing - in the third stanza from the end, you have "stuffA" and I don't think the stuf is supposed to be there.
But anyway, awesome as usual.
