omg This chapter was great! I love how Ardan will switch from teen personality to snobby know it all adult. Who is Lucille to Ardan? His g/f? Does she love him or is it just for sex? Because to break the curse you never said it had to be one of the sorceresses realatives Ardan had to get to love him. You just said it had to be a girl. Well thats what I thought.. Ok awesome chapter keep it up..

And why is he fighting his emotions for her? Is that a "I'm just so used to being a cold, heartless evil dude" type of thing or something is there a reason not to love her? Can't he break the spell by falling in love/her falling in love with him? Or only through magic? Is he scared of being hurt? hm...mmkay, I be stopping now with the questions because I need to go to the bathroom and more importantly, there's ice cream downstairs! (queue merry jig)

In this chapter I have had goosebumps, you have sped up my heart-rate (If I die from high bloodpressure you're going to get a phone call) I have almost cried, I have ... god knows what. I was completely lost in the story!

The hug was lovely. I nearly said 'No!' outloud when he let go. And that wouldn't have been good. Beautiful description.

Ardan was so ... cold. I nearly cried. Although I knew that cos you'd made him do that, there was going to be a lovely bit with him comforting her coming up. I just had to wait for it...

The flashback was really well done. Horrible though. I could hardly bear to keep reading it.

Hehe, sugar is fun. Whe! Oh, guess what! I ran across another BATB story...Mistress of Argyris, or something like that. With all this nasty schoolwork, I haven't had a chance to read it, but I did get through Castle Mirrors - great recomendation, by the way.

Excellent job, I might add, with the added characterization of this story. It's just close enough to the original to be recognized, but not so close that Disney's gonna come after you ;-P So, yeah. Great chapter...We already kinda know Ardan's plan.. Wasn't it just to use her to break the spell? That's not really that evil, considering she knows that's what he wants from her. Unless he knows something that hasn't been mentioned yet. Awe, Arden's little brother is adorable. Would Arden have lived so long if he wasn't cursed? Do the people he rule know about his curse? If not do they wonder how he is still living?

It doesn't matter that nothing happens, I thought this was a brilliant chapter! I love your updates. -

I love Ardan's teenage hormones. They are hilarious. Absolutely brilliant.

Althought at no point did Ardan seem to put his clothes on - it wasn't mentioned, and at one point I thought he was still naked!

"It looked like the fairytale castle of some sick, twisted little child" lovely description.

I love the carebear undies. Hilarious. The thing is I can actually imagine him doing that! With anyone else it would be like - no, that's just going to far, butwith him I really can see it! Lol.

"I think you may be falling for her Beast," a little voice whispered." should be 'I think you may be falling for her, beast,' otherwise it sounds like he's falling for a beast that belongs to her! Lol.
